Why Most New Year's Resolutions Fail by January 15th
You have a goal. What you lack is an Operating System.
We are two weeks away from the “New Year, New Me” chaos.
On January 1st, millions of people will set a goal: “I want to make more money.” By January 15th, 80% of them will have quit.
Why?
The Goal vs. System Fallacy James Clear, author of Atomic Habits, said it best: “You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”
A Goal is the destination (£2,000/month). A System is the vehicle that gets you there (Daily outreach, offer structure, client management).
Most people start January with a destination but no vehicle. They rely on “motivation.” But motivation is like a sugar rush—it wears off after 48 hours. When you are tired, stressed, or rejected, motivation vanishes.
That is when you need a System.
Introducing: The Q1 Income OS For the last three weeks, I have been documenting the build of my personal Operating System.
I have taken everything I know about freelancing, finding ideas, pricing offers, sending scripts, managing time, and I have coded it into a single Notion dashboard.
It is not a course. It is a workspace. It is designed to be the “Vehicle” that ensures you don’t crash and burn on January 15th.
Launch Date: January 1st, 2025.
On New Year’s Day, I am releasing the template to the public. If you are on the waitlist, you will get the Early Bird pricing.
Don’t let 2025 be another year of “I wish I had started.” Get the system, and let’s get to work.
